Haley Zimmerman
AIA / DESIGN MANAGER / SENIOR ASSOCIATE
An East Tennessee native, Haley is a passionate and collaborative designer who brings energy, creativity, and a keen eye for both the function and quality of space to every project. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee, where she graduated in 2015. She approaches each design challenge with thoughtfulness and a client-focused perspective, crafting spaces that are purposeful, inspiring, and human-centered—from small-scale healthcare facilities to large corporate headquarters.
As Design Manager at MHM, Haley champions design excellence across the studio. She guides teams through concept development and the design process, mentors staff, and fosters a culture of collaboration, exploration, and innovation. In this role, she also helps shape the firm’s design identity—leading reviews, establishing standards, and creating resources that elevate project outcomes while aligning with sustainable strategies. Haley extends this leadership outward as well, supporting branding and communications efforts that highlight the firm’s creative impact and community engagement.
Outside of project work, Haley is deeply committed to the profession and her community. She actively participates in AIA East Tennessee, supporting emerging professionals and outreach programs, organizes the annual Art Salon, and serves on the board of Random Acts of Flowers.
