Lauren McCarty
AIA
Lauren received her Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Interior Architecture with a focus on Adaptive Reuse from the Rhode Island School of Design. After graduating from RISD, she moved to Brooklyn, where she worked on residential architecture and interiors within the city’s iconic brownstones and townhouses.
Committed to design at every scale, Lauren values the intersection of historical preservation, renovation, and contemporary design. She prioritizes intentionality, relevance, and the unique needs of each client, believing that every detail matters.
Continuing the legacy of her grandfather and father, Bruce and Doug McCarty, Lauren joined MHM in 2020.
