Li is a Principal at MHM and a thoughtful leader known for her inclusive, consensus-building approach. She brings clarity and care to every stage of a project, engaging clients, consultants, contractors, and designers to ensure collaborative success.
Passionate about design in context and place-making, Li focuses on shaping campus environments that inspire learning and foster a sense of belonging. She has contributed significantly to MHM’s higher education practice, with work that enhances the student experience and reflects the diverse needs of academic communities.
Li is an active member of NOMA at Large, supporting justice and equity in communities of color through advocacy, outreach, and design excellence. She also served as a member of the UT Chancellor’s Associates (2020–2023) and Leadership Knoxville Class of 2022, deepening her commitment to listening, engaging, and building strong relationships throughout the Knoxville community.
