Lorena Martin
AIA, LEED AP BD+C
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Lorena holds a Bachelor of Architecture and earned her Master of Architecture from the University of Tennessee in 2015. With over 12 years of experience in architecture and construction, she is a skilled designer and project manager with expertise in planning, detailing, and construction administration.
Her early work on projects in Haiti and Panama sparked a passion for community design and revealed to her the power of architecture as a humanitarian act. For Lorena, finding purpose in serving others through design has been the most rewarding aspect of her career.
She is actively involved in bringing greater diversity to the profession through her work with Centro Hispano of East Tennessee and as a board member of PechaKucha Nights Knoxville.
