Nathan Honeycutt

Nathan is a Principal at MHM, where he leads with a collaborative, client-focused approach rooted in thoughtful design and community impact. With experience at both large and small firms, Nathan has contributed to projects around the world, bringing a broad perspective to MHM’s diverse portfolio.
Since joining the firm in 2011, he has been instrumental in award-winning work across a range of sectors, including government, commercial, civic, residential, and hospitality. His contributions have played a meaningful role in shaping the architectural landscape of downtown Knoxville, guided by a commitment to quality, sustainability, and lasting value.
Nathan believes the foundation of successful design is listening. He works closely with clients and teams to uncover each project’s unique goals and translate them into creative, functional solutions. Outside the office, Nathan and his wife, Amy, actively support organizations such as the East Tennessee Community Design Center, Knox Heritage, the East Tennessee History Center, and the American Heart Association.
