TRAVEL SCHOLARSHIPS
For many years, MHM, among other individuals, have been building a new endowment at the UT School of Architecture to create the McCarty Holsaple McCarty International Travel Scholarship. The first annual set of scholarships were awarded this spring, helping five students pursue design studies in Germany, Poland, Italy, Finland and Spain in the coming school year. International study was a life-changing experience for many MHM staffers, and the firm is proud to help UT continue this legacy in the future.

The jury appreciated the “well-articulated” space and noted that “carefully considered, commonsense decisions have transformed a dreary, cluttered rabbit’s warren of offices into a bright, optimistic open space for collaborative creativity.” The MHM team won the plaque design competition held by the organization as well to be placed in future award-winning buildings.
